Not been updating my blog for some time. Seems like Blogger had a revamp of their website--nice clean white! My favorite design principle. Trying to fill up space is always tricky, so why not put the whites in the right areas to leave the eyes to concentrate on what's really important?

Anyway, last few days in Sheares Hall. 80% of my stuff has been brought back home and what's left are really quite the bare essentials. And I've started to look for a job, and thank God I kinda landed myself up in as a temporary full-time volunteer with TOUCH Youth Services. I knew that writing cover letters and resumes are tough, but never imagined it to be that tough. But interestingly, for the jobs I'm really interested in I find myself enjoying writing the resumes and tweaking them to perfection. Exhausting, yes; but if it lands me up with the dream job I really don't mind sitting down for hours to polish my resume.

As I looked back in the four years in Sheares Hall, the best experiences are always those horsing around with people--and that started only when we shifted to the new hall premises. I guess the closer proximity with my neighbors in the new hall did help me get a little bit more crazy.

When I thought was already emotionally stabled ready to leave Sheares Hall, suddenly the Sheares Exposure Camp upset everything...the rush, and fun, and the innate desire to be the "big brother" to the freshies overwhelmed me. There was a nagging sense of regret that I didn't play a bigger role in the camp, since I was the resident photographer, but I think part of me was restraining myself not to get myself so involved, lest I'm too emotionally tied up to get out of hall. Was pretty wrecked emotionally the days after the camp ended. The sudden onset of quietness in the hall after the camp ended was unbearable.

Was reading Sehsuan's blog; never fails to amaze me with the twists and turns in his life. I really admire his passion for life, which is evident in the way he blogs. Even the smallest meetings and acquaintance get recorded...to me it's quite a big deal because I think such things need not be recorded. For what? But I guess as time passes, it's interesting how much life has changed as past blog records were read.

Oh, did I say I've got a D+ for my FYP and ended myself with a 3rd class honors?
Woohoo...GRADUATED!
